Dimensions Secures Exciting New Partnership with Avis Budget Group for Bespoke Uniform Range
Posted on 22 September, 2025

Leading uniform provider Dimensions is proud to announce a new partnership with Avis Budget Group (ABG), a leading global provider of mobility solutions through its Avis and Budget brands. The collaboration will see Dimensions design, manufacture, and fully manage a bespoke corporate uniform range for ABG colleagues across 15 European countries.
The new uniform rollout, scheduled for 2026, will be distributed directly to more than 4,000 employees at 600 locations. This ensures ABG colleagues are equipped with high-quality, functional workwear tailored to their needs in diverse climates and working environments.
With a long history of innovation and customer service, ABG sought a trusted partner that could deliver exceptional quality, inclusivity, and reliability. Dimensions’ fully managed service guarantees a seamless process, from design and production through to stock management and delivery, allowing ABG to focus on its mission of making car hire easy.
Designed with Employees in Mind
Understanding the diverse climates across Europe, Dimensions developed the new range with ABG’s multi-skilled, customer-facing roles at the heart of the design. Key features include:
- Gender-neutral warmth layers and versatile layering options for inclusivity.
- Cutting-edge fabric technology to maximise comfort in all weather conditions.
- 37.5® fabric technology, which actively regulates body temperature by responding to humidity next to the skin.
This ensures wearers remain comfortable whether working in the heat of southern Europe or the colder conditions of Nordic locations. Early wearer trials have already shown strong positive responses to the uniform’s fit, breathability, and modern styling.
The new uniform range has been carefully developed for multiple roles including Agents, Managers, and Licensees, reflecting the diverse responsibilities across ABG. It includes a variety of garments to suit different roles and climates, such as unisex waterproof 3-in-1 jacket, unisex reversible gilet, long- and short-sleeve polo shirts, cargo shorts, trousers, chinos, a skirt, unisex softshell jacket, and a shirt with transformable sleeves.
Accessories complement the range, including beanies, baseball caps, trainers, scarves, and ties, ensuring a complete and practical workwear solution.
Items within the range also reflect the Avis family of brands, including Avis, Budget. Some pieces are dual-branded, while others vary in colour to distinguish between roles, locations, and brands, creating a versatile and recognisable uniform identity.
A Responsible Approach to Transition
The partnership not only marks a significant upgrade from ABG’s previous uniform, complementing their refreshed branding and rental location redesign, it also demonstrates a commitment to sustainable workwear.
As part of the transition, 1,067 items of ABG’s former uniform stock, including cargos, skirts, blouses, maternity dresses, and knitwear were responsibly donated to two charities supported by the Mi Hub Group: The Phoenix Resource Centre and Emmanuel House.
This initiative reflects Dimensions’ ongoing corporate ESG strategy and environmental commitments. By donating surplus uniform stock, garments are diverted from landfill and given a second life. The impact is twofold:
- Locally, Emmanuel House supports people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Nottingham, offering clothing, meals, and vital services.
- Globally, The Phoenix Resource Centre promotes waste reduction and environmental protection, redistributing clothing, aid, and medical resources to communities worldwide.
Through these donations, ABG’s old uniforms continue to bring value, supporting both people and the planet.
Strengthening the Partnership.
Neal Jeffs, Director of International Procurement at Avis Budget Group, expressed his appreciation for the partnership, stating:
“It’s been a rollercoaster year, but the team at Dimensions has provided the stability and assurance we needed. What I appreciate the most is their genuine understanding of our position—they focus on helping us rather than making bold promises or inflating costs. It’s refreshing to work with a partner that truly has our best interests at heart.”
Dimensions is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration, as highlighted by Sharon Archer, Head of New Business Development:
“We are looking forward to supporting ABG in their new uniform rollout and providing a solution they can trust. Our goal is to ensure employees feel comfortable, confident, and proud in their uniform, enabling them to deliver outstanding service to customers. We’re excited to continue developing a long-lasting relationship with ABG and supporting them every step of the way.”
Looking Ahead
Wearer trials took place over a four-week period across 10 locations in six countries, including the UK, Spain, Poland, Germany, Italy, and France. Feedback from these trials informed key adjustments, such as updating the shirting fabric for enhanced comfort and climate adaptability across Europe.
The trials also led to the introduction of ties and scarves to help Managers and senior staff be more easily identifiable, further supporting role differentiation within the uniform range.
With the full rollout scheduled for 2026, Dimensions remains committed to delivering a bespoke, high-quality, and sustainable uniform range for ABG’s diverse workforce. This partnership highlights Dimensions’ ability to combine innovation, inclusivity, and environmental responsibility in a fully managed uniform solution.
