A First Look at the New Nationwide Uniform With a Bit of Show and Tell

Our very first Nationwide uniform show-and-tell is officially wrapped. The sessions gave colleagues across Dimensions a chance to get hands-on with the brand-new Nationwide range and see for themselves what’s new, what’s smart, and what’s been thoughtfully designed to support all roles across the business.

We were especially pleased to welcome colleagues from across Dimensions – including Finance, Customer Services, HR, and more – all of whom play a part in supporting the customer relationship. Internal show and tell sessions  are a valuable opportunity for people from across the business to see the completed uniform range in person, explore the features up close, and understand how the design supports both frontline and behind-the-scenes roles.

Getting up close with the new Nationwide uniform

Hosted across two sessions, the uniform showcase gave internal Dimensions' colleagues the opportunity to see, touch, and try out the new garments. Karen (Account Manager), Sophie (Account Executive), and Sally (Designer) were on hand modelling the full collection and chatting through the designs behind each item.

It wasn’t just a ‘look but don’t touch’ setup either – attendees could handle the new fabrics, check out the technical features, and get a feel for the quality. A behind-the-scenes video played throughout the sessions, sharing how the range came together – from early design boards and colour palette choices to the sustainable materials and gender mutual design approach.

Smart fabric. Smart design.

One of the most talked-about elements of the new Nationwide uniform was the technical innovation behind the garments. From 37.5® fabric technology (which helps regulate body temperature) to two-way zips, rollable sleeves, and easy-care materials, the range has been designed to suit a wide variety of body shapes and working needs, without compromising on style or practicality.

Gender mutual and inclusive

We also had some brilliant conversations about our gender mutual wardrobe approach. By moving away from traditional male/female divides in design, we’ve created a range that supports personal choice, comfort, and confidence for everyone, no matter how you identify. This shift opens up more options, more flexibility, and a more inclusive way of dressing for work.

Designed with sustainability in mind.

Sustainability is woven into the new collection too. From eco-conscious fabrics to reduced labelling and packaging, the new uniform reflects a bigger commitment to doing better for the planet, and we’re excited to keep building on that.

What's next?

Now that the rollout is officially underway, we’re excited to see Nationwide colleagues across the country wearing their new uniforms in branches. It’s been fantastic to watch this project come to life, from initial ideas and feedback sessions, right through to final designs and launch.

Team Dimensions thanks everyone who has been involved, asked questions, and helped shape the final collection. We can’t wait to see the new uniform out in the real world, supporting the brilliant work our teams do every day.
