Job Description:

Background

MWUK are currently undertaking a series of projects to improve its current supply chain processes, to enable better delivery of our quality corporate wear garments to our customers.

Central to this activity is the introduction of a Product Lifecycle Management application (Vision NG from Fast React Ltd) that will be used to manage Garment and fabric from concept design, through to delivered product.

Given the nature of the existing disparate systems in which information is stored then the role is to support the Supply Chain Transformation Project Team (SCTP) with data collation, cleansing and upload to the new system.

The data required is in multiple formats, from multiple sources, legacy ERP systems, legacy PLM system (Infor),spreadsheets , word and images (Jpeg and Adobe Illustrator – AI files) stored in multiple network drives.

Knowledge, skills & abilities:·

Computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel for data manipulation, with the ability to create pivot tables and look-ups.

Confidence in working with large amounts of data, with good attention to detail.·

Sound numeracy and analytical skills

Experience with SQL and reporting tools desirable (SSRS, Corvu, Crystal)·

Ability to work proactively using own initiative & be able to communicate at all levels.·

Past experience of project work or working in a project team on data migration.

Good time management, with the ability to achieve project deadlines.·

Ability to work independently, with a professional approach.

Understanding of supply chain concepts, with experience of manufacturing outsourcing - desirable

Experience of garment manufacturing operations- corporate wear desirable.·

Ability to quickly learn new IT applications.
