Job Overview

In the role of a Account Manager working within Mi Hub Ltd. you will oversee every aspect of the customer experience. You will be required to manage the customer(s) objectives to ensure agreements and contractual obligations are achieved whilst also meeting the commercial needs of the business.

You will need to be able to support other members of the Commercial Team, and be a positive role model to the wider business.

Job Purpose

Your role is pivotal in ensuring we maintain and strengthen our customer relationships using your excellent comminution and networking skills. Using these relationships to further enhance trust to seek out commercial opportunities to grow our sales and profitability.

Duties Involved

Understand our customers’ requirements

  • Effective two way communication at all levels
  • Interpretation of customer’s strategies and objectives
  • Test and qualify customer’s direction of travel, understand the markets, trading environment and culture of your customer(s)
  • Manage and monitor contractual KPI’s with regular communication with customer on performance and adherence

Create, implement and update a strategic plan

  • Using knowledge of our customers strategies and objectives to build and execute successful short, medium and longer term plans that meet both the customers and our business needs
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process and service improvements
  • Mange and oversee project teams both internally and within the customer to deliver agreed objectives
  • Deliver and aim to exceed the business sales and margin targets

Retain the customer, strengthen relationships at all levels and grow the account sales

  • Build strong relationships based on trust
  • Network and grow the relationship base within the customer
  • Seek out and identify sales opportunities to grow both sales and margin
  • Seek out, develop and implement new ways of working to enhance processes and drive efficiency improvements

Manage key projects and maintain a critical path

  • Monitor budgets, stock levels and forecasts
  • Maintain and update data on the company’s CRM system
  • Successfully lead a project team to deliver high value, business critical projects
  • Using experience within the industry and the business to deliver positive results against wider business initiatives

Demonstrating values of the business

  • Offer guidance and support to others in the Commercial team
  • Set a positive example within the Commercial team and wider business
  • Demonstrate the behaviours that reflect the culture of our team and wider business
  • Ability to work under own initiative, delivering solutions to possible or actual business risk or concern
